CODA established a Memorial Fund to honor deceased loved ones who have touched us either as CODA International members, fellow Codas or those who have supported and nurtured our Coda identities. The goal of this fund is to help Codas attend CODA conferences. Codas, family members and supporters honored will also be remembered in a face-to-face ceremony at the next CODA Conference.
In memory of those honorees who gave to us so that we might enrich others.

The CODA Memorial Fund has been established to honor the memory of hearing individuals with Deaf parent(s) who have passed away. Donations are also welcome in memory of those persons (hearing or Deaf) who have supported CODA and/or who have nurtured our Coda identities. Donations to the Memorial Fund are specifically used to provide waivers for registration costs for Codas to attend a CODA Conference. This supports Codas who would like to attend a Conference but may find the cost prohibitive. The Memorial Fund has a page on the CODA website where all persons honored through donations are named. Annual “CODA in Memoriam” Power Points are also provided that highlight Honorees for whom donations were received. The deadline for submissions to the annual Power Point is MAY1st. A minimum donation of $25.00 USD can be made on the CODA website at: The following steps are required when making a donation to the CODA Memorial Fund:
Donations made by mail must include a check and the Information Form. Mail the check and the Form to the following address: CODA International Memorial Fund 41041 Trimboli Way #1788 Fremont, CA 94538-4832 Donation, completed Information Form, and photo(s) of Honorees received after the May 1st deadline will be included in the Power Point developed for the following year.
